As You Wish

Standard
WE HAVE A RECEPTION HALL BOOKED!

Ahh, I am so excited that I can check this off of the list. Plus, it is something that my mother can no longer nag me about. Now, she can nag me about other wedding things. Yay.

It is super pretty and it includes a DJ, dinner, open bar, and a cake! So that will end up making my life a little bit easier. I was able to come home on Friday to see it, with my mom, before someone’s wedding so it was all pretty. Plus, it is nice and big, so it will be able to fit everyone.

When the lady asked if we would like to sign the contract and book the date, I, of course, said, “Yes, please!” And then as we were in her office I realized I didn’t even make sure that it was 100% okay with Fiancé. Oops?

So I quickly texted him and his reply was perfect, “As you wish.”

Have you ever seen or read The Princess Bride? He stole that line from it.

And whenever he tells me that, I know he is referring to the movie/novel. It makes me smile. A lot.

So we booked the reception hall and he will get to see it in person (he has seen pictures) in two weeks.

And if you have seen or read the novel, here is a sneak peak of something that I want incorporated into our wedding or reception, “Mawiage. Mawiage is what bwings us togever today.” along with, “And wuv, twue wuv….”

He Makes Breakfast!

Standard
I originally had 2 substitute teaching job interviews on Thursday. But, alas, the first one (the phone one) got moved back to Monday. The one in the afternoon went really well and it went how I thought it would. Basically since I’m not a crazy person, it will just take a week to get my information processed and I should be getting an e-mail letting me know that I got the job.

Holla.

Fiance was really sweet that entire morning. He woke me up with the lovely news that he had made me breakfast and it was waiting for me in the kitchen.

Of course this made me happy. I am NOT a morning person (wrong career path, much? I think so!). And he used to make me breakfast all of the time when I would stay over in college (I was never one to live at his place 24/7. I figured we had the rest of our lives to live together).

So I forced myself out of the comforts of our warm bed and sauntered into the kitchen to find this on the counter:

He had made muffins, his go to and easy breakfast. That are also very yummy. But this smiley face cuteness was a first. I will admit, it did help start my day off nice and with a smile.

Now only to train him to know to make me a cup of coffee with it…. 😉
